Dynamical property of $N$-component fermionic Hubbard models in the
spin-incoherent high temperature regime
   [PDF]

Akiyuki Tokuno, Thierry Giamarchi
Strongly correlated Hubbard systems extended to $N$-component fermions are studied. We focus on the intermediate temperature regime between magnetic superexchange and interaction energy, which is relevant to current ultra-cold fermionic atom experiments. The $N$-component fermions are represented by slave particles, and, by implementing a diagrammatic analysis from the atomic limit, spectral functions are analytically obtained as a function of temperature, filling factor and the component number $N$. Furthermore, this analytical technique is also applied to the calculation of lattice modulation experiments. The production rate of double occupancy induced by modulation of an optical lattice potential is analytically calculated.
