Time-resolved resonant soft x-ray scattering spectroscopy reveals the glass-like physics that mediates the dynamics of antiferromagnetic spin ordering in a transient photo-excited Pr$_{0.7}$Ca$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$ manganite. The evolution of spin ordering, measured nearly 12 decades in time (70 ps to tens of seconds), exhibits an unambiguous stretched-exponential behavior that is a hallmark of glass-like systems. Moreover, a dimensional crossover in the eff?ective interaction from 1D at low pump fluence to 3D at high pump fluence is observed, suggesting that spin ordering and orbital ordering are transiently decoupled by photo-excitation.
